According to the dictionary, the word nutrition is “the amount of biologic processes that allows, or condition, the survival, the growth, the development and the integrity of a human organism, from all the reigns (animal, vegetal, bacterial…) on the base of the availability of energy and nutrients”.
From each word of this definition you can understand how is important the simple and natural action of eating for our body. It’s life! The body of an athlete, that is often pushed to the limit of its physical and mental limits during games and trainings must be well fed in order to maximize performance, recharge and wellness.
That’s why I think is important to dedicate part of my web page sharing nutritional notions: from the good habits to more techinc and scientific articles about what athletes need to eat and integrate, by involving professionals that I know and respect.
